Dear Friends,
I want to personally invite you to a lifechanging weekend away with the Lord. God invites you to a time of quiet and solitude when He says, “Be still and know that I am God” (Psalm 46:10). Maybe you have felt as though you have so much on your plate that there is no time to respond to His amazing invitation. I encourage you to answer His call and experience a weekend retreat for your soul at Calvary Chapel Conference Center in Murrieta with SCC Women on April 30-May 2, 2010.
Our 2010 Women’s Retreat theme is Becoming A Woman Of Prayer. Your prayer life will grow as you hear inspiring messages, share with sisters in the Lord, and worship the Lord in praise and adoration. Believing, Holy Spirit-filled, powerful prayer changes lives. The cure for anxiety is prayer (Philippians 4:6-7). Jesus says that the one thing we never give up doing even when we are discouraged is prayer (Luke 18:1). And Paul says that our priority is prayer (1 Timothy 2:1). Becoming a woman of prayer is one of those great spiritual essentials for our maturity in Christ.
So dear friend, I encourage you to invest in your life of prayer. I look forward to seeing you at our annual SCC Women’s Retreat this year. May we all become bright shining examples of women of prayer.
In His love,
Catherine
