What is the secret to a happier, fuller life? What does the Christ-life even look like when your days are gritty, long, and sometimes even dark? In the One Thousand Gifts small group study, Ann Voskamp reveals the discovery that will open participants eyes to ordinary, amazing grace regardless of one's circumstances. This five-session, video-based study with study guide (sold separately) helps participants enter a new way of life that will restore a joyful heart.

What to expect when you join a Small Group at Dwelling Place -

It should be our desire to live out lives based on the principles of the Great Commandment (Matt. 22:37-39) and the Great Commission (Matt. 28:19-20). To do this, we need to live healthy, balanced lives. We have established five purposes to help individuals live out these principles -

  • Worship
  • Belong
  • Grow
  • Serve
  • Reach

Dwelling place is a great way to learn how we can live out these five purposes everyday.

Each evening will start out with a time of worship and you do not want to miss this! Worship is a wonderful opportunity to set aside the worries of the day and help us focus on the things the Lord has to teach us during small group time.

As we dig deeper into God’s Word and learn how to grow, apply and live out what God is teaching us, We will also set aside some time for fellowship. It is important that we spend time together; getting to know each other so we are well-equiped to encourage those around us.

There are many areas where we can plug you in at Dwelling Place. No matter what area it is you are passionate about, we want to help you to find a place to serve that allows you to connect with God's purpose for your life.

In addition, we will be adding outreach opportunities for our small groups to participate in. We need to reach beyond learning and knowledge into love and action so we can watch Christ's love touch a community far beyond our church walls.
