Welcome to SCC Women 2011-2012. Our theme this year is Becoming Women Of Faith. According to God, we are to walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). And that is a challenge, isn't it! Especially when times are tough and the storm is raging around us. Faith is closely associated with trust in God. In fact, you might even think of it as the outward expression of your trust-total reliance under stress and trial. Faith has often been defined as "Forsaking All I Trust Him." But I like to think of Faith as a "Fantastic Adventure In Trusting Him." Walking by faith is an adventure because then you get to watch God at work in and around you. All of a sudden, by faith, you are going to see God-sized things happen.

Our goal this year is to engage in the fantastic adventure of trusting Him. As we walk by faith, we will see God do what only He can do. We will walk in victory in the midst of difficult circumstances (1 John 5:4). And our life will be pleasing to the Lord - Hebrews 11:6 says that "without faith it is impossible to please Him."

Join us this year in studying God’s Word, sharing His love with other women, and becoming women of faith.
